Today's music is WAY too commercial! the world is overrun by greed and it is really sad that it has absorbed the worlds second greatest force- music. the first being LoVe.
People like Pitbull and Jr- who sing STUPID songs like "i know you want me..." and "make the circle beega"- are perfect examples of artists who aren't in it for the music, but the money, fame and status. it is really saddening thought that in our society where music (despite changing over the decades) has been a constant since anyone can remember, is now comming second to bad rapping, meaningless lyrics, explicit music videos, pretty faces and a complete lack of talent.
the question is, why? why do so many people listen to this rubbish? is it cool to like it? do they actually enjoy it? i don't understand... if you know (or think you know) why, agree or disagree with what I'm saying, or just have something to say (provided it is sensored) then let me know! ReplyDeleteBut! the ones that may not be that famous, but have fantasticly great songs are going to be the ones remebered, not these people who think that 'Beega' is an actual word.
